Drop-in Adult Class: Advanced Modern
This Horton-based modern dance class is taught by Artistic Director Karen Charles. The weekly class is designed for advanced/intermediate advanced dancers.
Drop-in Adult Class: Advanced Ballet
This weekly ballet class is designed for advanced dancers and is taught by Artistic Director Karen Charles. The class seeks to deconstruct classical ballet training, emphasizing on artistry and performance, and dancers’ internal knowledge of how to use the technique with their specific body type, while honing their technical skills.
Moving Towards Joy Workshop
Join Threads Dance Project on a restorative journey away from grief, stress, and trauma towards joy, healing, and connection. The Moving Towards Joy workshop is a powerful experience that combines movement, introspection, and journaling to guide you toward a more joyful and peaceful self.
Spring 2025: Creative Connections Project (Ages 4-6)
Give your child aged 4-7 the gift of dance. Kids will learn the basic techniques of ballet and modern dance, enjoy music and storytelling, and focus on creating positive self-image.
Spring 2025: Young Dancers Project (Ages 7-12+)
Give your child aged 8-12 years the gift of dance. They will learn technical skills, wellness and nutrition, and creative self-expression through movement.

Threads Sneaker Ball

Registration Deadline: Auditions
Threads Dance Project is seeking a diverse group of male-identifying and female-identifying dancers, ages 21+ who are versatile, quick learners, and fluent in a variety of dance forms.
Tapestries 8.0 Show
Tapestries 8.0 is Threads Dance Project’s annual showcase of emerging choreographic talents. This year’s show commissions new works from three choreographers – Da’Rius Malone, Averie Mitchell-Brown, and Shoko Tamai.

Threads Dance Project’s Monster Mash Bash Fundraiser
Our annual fall fundraiser will take place Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 3:00-5:00pm at Threads Dance Nexus. Come dressed in your Halloween best for festive games, a costume contest, treats, and of course, dancing!
